The embellishment is designed along the fold in contrast to the fabric, and allows for variety in wearability while accounting for comfort. The shorts fit like a soft second skin. The waist is easy to relax in at the belly or around your hips. The elastic and lace are so supple and the Modal fabric ensures the leg opening suits your comfort. For sizing think about your preference for a snug vs.relaxed fit.
